Since I live in St. Louis, Missouri, I thought I would make a page with a few things that I love to do here in my own city. This page will be set up slightly different than the other pages since I won’t be doing a day by day account of home base, but I just want to highlight some of the fun and different things that I do while I’m not travelling.

January 2, 2026: Anselm Kiefer Exhibit at SLAM
Bryce and I went to check out the new art exhibit at SLAM called Anselm Kiefer: Becoming the Sea, a German artist that focused on waters in this exhibit.
January 11, 2026: Outpost Coffee and Bricks
Bryce and I met some friends for coffee at a Lego Cafe. We rented some Lego sets and got to build them while visiting over coffee.
January 16, 2026: Paint Night with Friends
Two friends came over and we followed an online video tutorial for our paint night!
January 31, 2026: Tour of SLSO
Bryce and I did the backstage tour of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. We even got to go onto the stage.
March 3, 2026: Happy Birthday
We celebrated Bryce’s birthday today with dinner, presents, and cake!
March 23, 2026: Chain of Ideas Book Release - Dr. Kendi
We went to a book talk to hear Dr. Ibram X. Kendi talk about his new book, the Chain of Ideas.
March 23, 2026: Chain of Ideas Book Release - Cori Bush
We also got to hear a discussion between Dr. Kendi and Cori Bush.
March 27, 2026: Eckert’s Farm for Tulips
We were able to head over to Eckert’s before the end of the day to see all of the tulips in bloom! It was a cool day but all of the flowers were so pretty.
June 2, 2026: Art Museum in Forest Park
I celebrated my friend’s birthday by taking her to breakfast and the art museum. And then a fun photo outside in Forest Park.
June 7, 2026 Virginia Fairbanks Art and Nature Park
We went to Indianapolis yesterday to see Christian Borle perform with the ISO. Before we left on Sunday, we took a stroll at the art and nature park.
